Conservation the whole community can join
Sea turtles nesting along Kenya's coast face pressure from coastal development, plastic pollution and disturbance on their nesting beaches. Festivals like this one give local schools, families and visitors a hands-on way to understand that pressure — and a reason to protect the beaches they share with these ancient animals.

Sponsoring the day, supporting the cause
Valor to Virtue has supported the festival as a sponsor — in June 2021 and again in 2023 — standing alongside the conservation partners who help us protect the coast. It is part of a wider effort that has protected 5 land sites (3 leases and 2 properties), with 81% of our spending going to conservation.
